Mr. Canner works closely with Buyers, Sellers, mortgage brokers, loan officers and realtors to provide expert counsel on closing residential real estate transactions. 

Mr. Canner negotiates Purchase and Sale Agreements on behalf of Buyers and Sellers, keeping each individual client fully informed throughout the process. In addition, he works with banks to ensure that real estate closings are conducted in a professional and efficient manner. His practice utilizes industry-leading real estate conveyancing and funding software, which helps to facilitate a fluid transaction. 

Prior to entering private practice, Mr. Canner served as an Assistant District Attorney in the Middlesex District Attorney’s Office. In this capacity, Mr. Canner worked as a trial attorney, an appellate attorney, and District Attorney Martha Coakley’s liaison to Beacon Hill. 

He also founded a mentoring program that paired young professionals with Boston’s Media and Technology Charter High School’s (MATCH) students.  He volunteered his time to recruit mentors, organized fundraisers, and mentored a student.

Mr. Canner is a member of the Massachusetts Bar Association and the Real Estate Bar Association. 

Mr. Canner received his bachelor’s degree in 1993 from Lafayette College and his J.D. in 1998 from American University’s Washington College of Law.
